We lost our precious Annie 3 weeks ago to a pituitary tumor. She was 14 and that was the only thing wrong with her. It caused a myriad of symptoms and she was declining so fast. I miss her so much, she was like a child to me. My heart is broken and I am still greiving so as she was my best friend and after a bad day of work. Precious fur to cry in. Thank you, O' Thank you for publishing this. I hope this brings hope for others and that this surgery will become affordable and available to help other "babies". Although it's too late for Sweet Annie, I am thankful someone eles precious girl will get the help she needs.
Grieving so,

I loved this story. A lot of people have no clue how important dogs are to our survival. My dad used to come stay in our house when we lived in Arizona and California and take care of our dogs. I was going to get him a dog from the pound when my parents lived in Chula Vista not long before he passed away. I made the stipulation that the boys needed to put up a fence in the yard and that the dog was to live in the house and be his companion. We ended up not doing it because he said my mom would not like it and the boys would not put up a fence in the yard. He is actually the person that I got my tremendous love of dogs from. I remember him taking me to Canyon City, CO before I even started kindergarten to help me get a dog. That dog was with us until I was in high school. He was absolutely a wonderful dog. He had to be put down when he was 15 years old.

Sweet. Having just moved to the Hawaiian Islands I've managed to bring with me the #1 dog... my Yellow Lab. Along with her comes my much less common dog, a Weimaraner. She digs the sun though.

Looking forward to all things dog here on the Big Island and the rest of the Hawaiian Islands. :)

Are you still looking for homes to host teeth cleaning? I live in a Kaneohe neighborhood w/ loads of pampered dogs. I'm sure I could round up business.

Let me know.
